Joni is the owner and founder of Honu Planning. She is a Principal Planner with over 15 years’ experience leading complex planning projects in the fields of urban design, comprehensive land use planning and multi-modal transportation planning. She has extensive experience planning for land use, neighborhood and urban design, non-motorized users, transit-oriented development, policy and program development, and engaging with Alaskan communities using creative public involvement techniques.
